There’s this girl… that I hate. I’m not a hater; I mostly like everyone. But this girl, I hate her. And this #ecard reminded me of how I feel about her.

So my boyfriend and my best friend hate each other. They both hate each other for viable reasons. This reminds me of that.

I get REALLY annoyed when….
A girl says “Why am I so fat/ugly/gross?” or anything of that derivative. This is the age-old attempt/plea to have someone say “you’re not” in effort to feel better about themselves. It’s sad. We all know you’re way past obsessed with yourself; you’re not fooling anyone.

Why? Why do people fill the need to fill their bodies with things that tells their brain they’re not actually hungry? Eating healthy is not that hard. Today I had a whole wheat bagel for breakfast with natural peanut butter, and slices of banana. I had half of a tuna sandwich for lunch with some fat free chips. I’ll have a chicken pesto panini for dinner. It’s all delicious. I also did half an hour of cardio and some abs work outs. I didn’t use any drugs. This is yet another outlet in the world that is a “quick-fix”.. results without any work for them. People, fill your body with food; that’s why God gave it to us. Work hard and be fit. Don’t take the easy, unhealthy route.

I am so thrilled to be calling my 40th Duke-North Carolina game on Wednesday night. I believe it is the best rivalry in all of sports, not just college basketball.” - Dick Vitale
Just in case no one has noticed yet…. I’m a Duke fan. And this is just about precious.

This is kind of awesome. I kind of really like it. I kind of wanted to post it somewhere where I wouldn’t get harassed for it. Now I’m kind of satisfied.

These little girls are bad ass. The end.

I’m kind of obsessed with Sophia Grace and Rosie. I can only hope that one day my children are half this cool.

I have to talk about proposals for a quick minute. I just have to.
For the past three days, people on my Facebook have been submitting their marriage proposal stories to a website for a competition. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for your typical romantic/cheesy/over-the-top proposal, but some of these tales have been quite amusing to me. Dear Future husband-to-be, please do not take me out into a field or in the middle of the woods and have a pre-set dinner waiting for me where you proceed to ask me to dance and/or serenade me with a tune. I have always dreamed of my proposal being over-the-top, I can admit that. I like the idea of my fiance having put a lot of thought and effort into proposing. Still yet, I want to be surprised. I don’t want to be mid-hike through the forest or mid-ride in a horse-drawn carriage when I realize what is about to go down. I would prefer the proposal to take me by complete surprise, when I’m least expecting it. Does that mean I want to merely be out to dinner and him pop the question across the table? No, absolutely not, I’d definitely be disappointed if that were the case. All I’m saying is, guys, in your attempt to create this grand situation, don’t make it blatantly obvious what is about to happen. Take her breath away instead of taking the surprise away.
